Bottle shared at the chriso Easter 2015 tasting - London. Pours rich brown with a thick, creamy beige head. Great snout, with rich mocha, chocolate, roast, coffee beans. Medium to big sweet flavor with oily chocolate character, light bitter coffee, cocoa. Full bodied with average carbonation. Chewy texture. Sticky sweet finish, with more chocolate. Tasty, if a little bit sugary.

Clear pale beige brown beer, creamy irregular off-white head, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, caramel, lots of mocha, coffee, overripe banana, yeast, spicy, some eucalyptus? MF: quite some carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet, lots of overripe banana, sugary, coffee, mocha, caramel, very sweet. Aftertaste: pretty hoppy, bitter, cocoa powder, mcha, caramle, lots of alcohol, spicy touch, herbal.

Bottle courtesy of Craig, consumed at the Village (a part of the campsite) at Fyne Fest’, Achadunan, Cairndow, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, Saturday 13thJune 2015 Pours almost black with a tan head, dark sticky toffee and coffee, soft in the mouth, boozy and coffee through, very nice. Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - very dark chocolate and coffee. Taste - toffee, dark chocolate and honeycomb. Some sort of dark chocolate and coffee Crunchie Bar. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry and balanced finish. Overall - very enjoyable and indulgent.

Bottle at Chriso easter tasting. 04/04/2015. Thanks to Craig. Viscous dark brown coloured pour with a frothy cream head. Aroma is green pepper, coffee bean, hot alcohol. Flavour is composed of full nutty, milky coffee, coffee bean, veg, sticky. Palate is medium full, semi sticky sweet, moderate to high carbonation. Lingering milky coffee, hot alcohol.

Bottle split at Chriso Easter tasting, thanks to Craig, 04/04/15. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is coffee grinds, spice, chocolate, toffee, light charr. Taste comprises dark fruits, coffee, light booze, chocolate pudding. Full bodied, fine carbonation, rich boozey close. Decent enough for a sweet stout.

ChrisOs Easter Tasting. Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Milky sweet malts. Floral spice. Sweet earthy coffee. Bubblegum esters. Light spicy finish. The flavours don’t harmonise that well for me.

Bottle, big thanks to Garvie. Consumed at ChrisO. It pours deep brown with a small off-white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, big sweet chocolate powder, dairy milk and earth. The taste is toasty, earthy, bitter-sweet, chocolate, light lactose, alcohol, grainy, milk chocolate and earthy roast with a dry finish. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. Not much depth to it. Pretty decent, but not a hug step up form the base beer. In fact I probably prefer the base beer.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Black body with a thick tan head. Lots of sticky lacing. Aroma of chocolate, sugary coffee, raisins and vanilla. Flavour of hazelnut, alcohol burn and coffee. Thick body with a syrupy texture. Light fizz. Very sweet and boozy. I’m not too keen on this.
