Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 15A). Can 33 cl - Batch 38 (BBF 21/11/19). AROMA: medium-low citrusy hop aroma starting to show oxidation (low). background of slightly caramelly malt. APPEARANCE: red amber colour and very slightly hazy. medium-low ivory head with average retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial medium-low hop flavor (pine-like and slight citrus), followed by a slight caramelly malt background. medium to medium-high bitterness with a dry and slightly bitter finish. PALATE: medium-light to light body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a red ale with added hops starting to show oxidation and a bit more bitter than usual.

On tap at Craft Room Zagreb. Darker amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, caramel and light toffee in the nose. Moderate malty, toasted, light caramel and toffee with notes of herbal hops. Dry sweetish finish. Not bad but rather ordinary brew.

Tap at Makarska Connexion@Opatovina. Misty red-brown body, beige creamy head. Sweetish-dry dark cherry and earthy notes in the aroma. Similar taste, mild aroma hops breaking through the earthy maltiness, mild cherry notes, ends a bit dry again. Nice beer, though not the most exciting style-wise!

33cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours unattractive hazy brown with medium grain white foam, some residue. Aroma is a nice aromatic citrus, some caramel, malty. Body is average with moderate carbonation. Taste is quite bitter for a red ale, with moderate sweetness, maybe less. Finish is kind of short.
