Murky dark golden, minimal off-white head. Dried fruit, bourbon malts, some vanilla, caramel cand, light peat. Peaty, dry, alcoholic and husky. Medium body, alcohol present but not to much, moderate finish. Quite boozy, but no mistakes.

Bottle @ home. Hazy brown with a small beige head. Smells wijnbal, sweet, candy, De Molen Quad’17. Tastes candy, wijnbal, smokey, overripe banana. Hate the candy sweetness. Full body, soft carbo.

Hackney Bottleshare. Light haze on this amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dry malts, sweetish. Light cream. Some mild smoke, not too much. Light dried fruits in to modest fruity bourbon. Dry and thin vanilla. Fruity finish. One of those beers that needs a little persistence, gets better as you go along. Hides the abv reasonably well.

Bottle. Dark amber color. Aroma has boozy raisin, malt, sweet figs and herbs. Taste of sweet raisin, mild smoke, figs, soft vanilla, booze, red fruit and malt. No bourbon to be found unfortunately. Body is thin for the abv. Weird beer, feels like something went wrong.

16/IX/17 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ T.'s movie night pt. I - BB: 25/XII/65 (wtf??) (2017-1508)
Clear amber to red beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, pretty yeasty, some banana. MF: very lively carbon, medium body, lots and lots of alcohol burning in the throat. Taste: pretty sweet, lots of alcohol, banana, sugary, yeast, little spicy. Aftertaste: more alcohol, lots of yeast character, soft bitterness, sweet and sticky. Not their best, by far... And where's my goddamn smoke? :p

Bottle shared at Leighton's place. 06/09/2017. Many thanks to Kenny for this one. A clear deep golden orange coloured pour with a thin beige head. Aroma is caramac bar, whiff of alcohol, little jammy, green apple, vanilla. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, caramel, light smoked, toffee, green apple, green apple and dirty caramel. Paalte is semi sweet, thin, watery, little chewy. Disappointing, little papery. Does not taste 15%.

Bottle at LKS. It pours clear copper with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, smoked action, earthy, woody, varnish, banana candy, vanilla, dried fruits, toffee and oiliness. The taste is soft, sweetish, oily, resinous, dried fruits, candied fruit, marmalade, tangy, tangerine, woody, smoke, varnish, banana and hint of booze, but not 15%.... medium body, fine carbonation and lily mouth - feel. Doesn't taste the abv. Unusual.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Kenny. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has some butterscotch, pale bread, ripening citrus fruits, melon. Medium sweet flavour with quite subtle smoke, some berries, bready malts, minimal alcohol. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with some further toasty toffee, relaxed smoke, a little booze maybe, more bread, nips of fruitcake. Drinks pretty good - much better than expected, given the purported ABV.
