Bottle from Bernie’s Real Ale Off License, Solihull. Poured a hazy medium amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is sweet sickly malt, some yeast. The flavour is moderate sweet with a yeast, floral, alcoholic bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Expected more and rather disappointed.

Poured from keg, at Craft Beer Co Clapham, half pint shared with Stefan. Patchy, white head, lacing rings down the glass. Clear golden body. Smell of sweaty hops and biscuit malts. Sweet fruit hoppy flavours, hints of almond and honey, undercurrent of alcohol. Soft carbonated. Just alright, bit heavy and sweet though (London 12.07.2015).

Bottle share round at Richy’s. Hazy, yellow gold. Barely a head. Bready. Citrus. White wine. Fresh hop. Grass. Taste has some sweetness. Notes end there, probably out of boredom.

27th June 2015: 500ml bottle between five of us at the 2nd Annual Midlands tasting. Cheers Shane. The beer poured a hazy golden yellow with a wispy, small head. Aroma of semi-sweet malty molasses, as was the taste. A little disappointing to be honest: one dimensional and pretty uninteresting for a UK 9% ABV brew. Would never have slotted it into any Belgian style of beer.

Bottle courtesy of Dad (cheers dad), consumed at home Saturday 20th June 2015 Cloudy mid amber with a sticky white head. A slight sharpness on the nose, a little zingy. I guess that this is a take on a Belgian Ale and there is quite a Belgian feel to this, light spicy notes, a light bittersweet orange offers a distinct fruity edge. Really enjoyable. 500ml bottle from Beer Gonzo. Pours amber with medium off-white head. Lime / peach muller corner aroma. Some prominent, blurred yeast and smudged vanilla cream in the taste, rather muddled and confused. Not a standard tripel by any stretch, and definitely tastes like things didn’t quite go to plan.

29th March 2015
Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is a little soft with fine carbonation. Smooth malts, light creamy sweetness. Mellow peach dominates but livened by tangy orange that gets very slightly sherbet. Mild tinned mango. Light semi dry finish. Pleasantly fruity and easy to drink.

500ml bottle from beer emporium. Hazy gold colour, with big white head. Aroma fruit and a Belgian yeastiness. Taste is well balanced with a sweetish finish. Wow. Great beer.
