Can, cheers Phil! interesting, very dry, burnt, cocoa, bit of vanilla sweetness, get the grapes a bit in the nose, but not so much in the taste. Bit of spice, liquorice maybe, lots of oats. Taste is good and smooth. I like this.

A dark brown stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of dark fruits, molasses, plums, alcohol warmth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of resinous floral hops, molasses, alcohol warmth, dark fruits, very nice. Can.

355ml can at home from trade with Nische, many thanks. No noticeable BB date. There is a swedish sticker that says about 12/2013, but I guess that cant be right :P black color, medium big dark brownish head. smells malty roast, some sweetness, lightly sour, light smoke notes, some wood, a bit liqueurish, earthy, some dark fruits, raisins. quite nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes malty roasty, some sweetness, wood notes, light alcohol, earth notes, liqueurish, lightly sour, light ash, some dark fruits, I would say plums, raisins, coconut. finishes with some sweetness, earthy notes and light wood. I like it, but overall its rather sweet, I think the wood notes help to make it feel even sweeter. Less sweetness would make this even better.

Can shared at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Black with a tan head. Nice roasty aroma with some coffee, a bit of licorice, a dark fruits note, a bit of wood. Bittersweetish flavor, a bit boozy, with roast, coffee, licorice, and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Kinda alcoholic. OK, but a bit disappointing.

(Can) Black colour with dense, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, treacle, black rye bread, dark chocolate and dried fruit. Malty, roasted taste with sweet black coffee, black rye bread, soy sauce, dark chocolate, brown sugar and a generous roasted bitterness in the finish. Can’t really detect much of the grapes, possibly a touch coming through towards the end. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Complex but still quite well balanced and tasty. Nice one.

Tap. Pours opaque black, small creamy brown head, nice lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, cocoa, red wine. Flavor is similar, perhaps a hint of oak, but not much, light sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Interesting.
