Bright citrusy unfiltered lager, this brew was borne of the brewers’ many trips to Germany. Alpine Spring features a unique blend of lager attributes: the balanced maltiness and hoppiness of a Helles, the smoothness and slightly higher alcohol of a traditional spring bock, and the unfiltered appearance of a Kellerbier. The beer is brewed with Noble Tettnang hops to add a unique, bright orange-citrusy aroma and flavor.

hazy golden color. Soapy with some oranges. Fairly hoppy light soapy mouth. Pleasent and refreshing.

12 ounce bottle into perfect pint glass, best before July 2013. Pours hazy golden straw color with a nice 2 finger fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with plenty of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, apple, pear, grape, bread, wheat, honey, floral, grass, light pepper, and herbal earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance, strength, and complexity of fruity esters, malt, and hop notes. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, biscuit, honey, wheat, floral, grass, light pepper, and herbal earthiness. Lingering notes of light fruits, biscuit, honey, floral, grass, light pepper, and herbal earthiness on the finish. Damn nice flavor balance and complexity of hop. malt, and fruity esters; with a nice amount of robustness; and zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a creamy and fairly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent kellerbier lager! Very nice amount of well balanced flavors with good complexity; and extremely smooth to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

Really damn decent for a lager. Very drinkable. Would love if this came as cheap in Canada - I’d drink this over any trashy lager we get there if I had to. Some hops and malt in aroma. A little skunkiness. Boozy finish, somewhat crisp. Carbonation a little above average. Bottle from H + R Food and Liquor.

On tap. Slightly hazy yellow with foamy off-white small head, citrus aroma, high carbonation, hoppy taste, long finish.

It poured a cloudy yellow/orange with a large foamy, lumpy, ringed head that took at least three minutes before it faded out. The smell is the citrus and the hops. Some light honey comes out as the beer warms. The taste is sweet with the citrus taking over as the beer warms. The palate is medium with some light harshness on the tongue but becomes better balanced as the beer warms. Overall, this is good to me and good for its style.

This is surprisingly good. Nice hop aroma, I am smelling Saaz, which I love in a lager. Cloudy appearance and a tall white head. Malt flavor with more hops. Top of its class.

Bottle while waiting for Italian grinders. Pours dirty orange with white head. Nose is astringent herbal and grass. Tastes of coriander, musk, lemon, chalk, herbs, wet dewey grass, and malt. Lively palate and slight metallic aftertaste.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy, golden-orange with a white, frothy head that lingers for a long time. Heavy citrus aroma with undertones of cracked black pepper. Taste is mildly sweet with flavors of orange and lemon. The mouth-feel on this is pretty good. Light-bodied with a slick texture. Carbonation is lively and the finish is short but sweet (literally). Overall, not too bad.

26/VI/2012 - 355ml bottle @ home - BB: July (I'll assume this year's) (2012-657) Thanks to ajax25g for the bottle!

Little cloudy beige to light orange beer, big creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing. Aroma: malty, bit sweet, some honey, hay. MF: ok carbon, light to medium body. Taste: sweet sugary start, bit of citrus, little grassy bitterness. Aftertaste: some citrus, hint of grapefruit. Meh.
