330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber-ish brown colour with late awakening, small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, sugary malty aroma with marzipan and almond touch. Taste is bitter hoppy and sweet-ish malty, slightly papery, hints of marzipan and almond, a touch of toffee, a citrusy hoppy touch of candied lemon zest lacks assertiveness; widely hidden alcohol, minimally warming finish nevertheless.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks Vova. Cloudy amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, stale hops, alcohol, fruitiness. Sweet flavor with caramel, a bit of honey, fruitiness, bitter stale hops, alcohol. Medium-bodied. Too boozy.

Very hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate i slight and semi dry with decent carbonation. Caramel malts, sweetish, little cream and toffee. Light spice. Rich dried fruits with tangy orange and orange peel. Touch of candied fruits. Light dry crisp finish. Decent barleywine, just would have like it more of an aged savoury feel.
