Bottle shared at the Cad’s 10th Anniversary Tasting - CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks to Ian! Pours clear gold with a frothy, off-white head. Pale bready nose with light fusel notes and some ripe fruits. Big sweet flavor with lots of sugary berries, bread, alcohol. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish, boozy, with dry citrus, more berries, some pale wood, and lots of bread. Rough at the edges but OK overall.

Bottle @ The Cad’s 10yr Shindig. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy dark fruit and caramel aroma. Fruity malty spicy dark fruit flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel and dark fruit finish.

Bottle at The Cad’s 10 yr Shindig. Thanks to Ian. It pours cloudy orange-amber with a small white head. The nose is tangerine, stewed orange, floral, grassy, muffin and sponge cake. The taste is bitter-sweet, toasty, stewed orange, candied peel, warming alcohol, toffee and toasted brown sugar with a smooth finish. Full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Not bad at all.

Coppery color with a medium white head with short duration. Aroma has notes of ripe fruit, some caramel notes and hoppy traces. Flavor has a decent bitterness, yeast are also present, red fruits, caramel, vinous and candy sugar. Creamy, slightly sweet with some bitterness, smooth on palate. Easy drinkable.
