Bottle from bottle park, Bratislava. Dark brown color with small white head. Ginger, caramel malt, lemonade in aroma. Very sweet dark malt, cola, ginger, soapy notes, strange bitterness in finish.

Bottle from Biddenden Winery Shop. It pours darkest ruby-brown with a small beige heas. The nose is dominated by fiery ginger, tangy fruits, toast, earth and mild acidity. The taste is rather sweet upfront, sweet liquorice, dark fruits, cherry cola, good hit of ginger, sugar, wood, toast and dandelion & burdock with a bitter-sweet finish. Medium body and average carbonation. A bit of a disappointment really, given the base beer involved. Ginger is quite dominating behind a very sweet base.

0,33L bottle, BB 05.2014. Pours dark amber with very light tan head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is very malty, ginger, chocolate, sweetness with hints of sour. Taste: malt, ginger, dark bread, sweetness, hints of alcohol. Overall: if you love ginger, this is the beer for you! The ginger is really dominating, but there is ok beer in the background. Pours red-tinted brown with a thick, tan head. Ginger root, caramel scent. Taste is strong ginger, sweet, candy-like with a nice peppery burn. Spiciness really mounts as it goes. Very, very tasty and different.

Dobre i tresciwe piwo. Pierwszy raz spotykam ciemne piwo z imbirem. To piwo jest smaczne, alkoholu sie nie wyczuwa. Pieknie pachnie swiezym imbirem oraz nawet wanilia. Mala niestety jest piana.

Bottle at home from marks and Spencer Euston station. Lively pour, big frothy cream head. Copper in colour with red notes. Aroma of cola and ginger but biscuits. Later the aroma is a touch soapy and caramel. Flavour is sweet, more ginger biscuit and cola cubes. Gentle warmth in the finish. Biting dryness. Overall pretty good speciality beer but a little to sweet.

Deep nutty brown colour with a fine off white head. Rich ginger aroma with some caramel malt. Also a lot of ginger in the flavour. Solid deep, and a bit sweet, caramel malt background. Medium body with an oily texture. Fresh and easy drinkable beer at 6%.

11.2 ounce bottle. Dark reddish brown color topped by a creamy tan head. Huge gingery aroma. Intense fruity ginger flavor overpowers everything. Warming ginger flavor. Very different.
