Hand grated lemon zest is augmented by a hop combination that neatly walks the tightrope between sharp and sweet. The citrus core has additional notes or sherbet, lime and gentle spice.

Kazbek, Polaris, Dana, Centennial, Amarillo, Vic Secret and Admiral hops. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, very modest sweetness. Pithy citrus, mild pine and a touch of tropical fruits. A little lime emerges as does pithy grapefruit on the finish. Decent, just wish the hops were more in your face.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. I was expecting a big citrusy American style IPA, but got something much more classy instead. This was an amber pour with a tight white head; and an aroma of lemon sherbert; the body is smooth and creamy with a subtle taste of oranges and lemons; leading to a softly bitter lemon rind finish with an underlying butterscotch finish and just a little warmth from the alcohol. A sublimely drinkable IPA.

Cask at the craft beer co. Clear golden / light orange coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is subdued caramel and orange, semi sweet, hint of pine. Flavour is composed of rounded base malts, hints of biscuit and caramel, orange rind, maybe a little earth. Assertive mellow citrus hop bitterness. Palate is medium bodied, semi sweet, really good cask condition. Decent. Lingering hint of earthy citrus and rounded malts.
