A malt body of pale Maris Otter kicked off with oak smoked wheat. Citra hops in the aroma mingle with the smoked malt to create peach in the aroma and flavour. A full velvety body develops into a soft marmalade bitterness helped along by a shot of coriander.

Bottle online from Northumbrian Gifts, Ashington. Pours clear copper gold with a white cap. Aroma: pale malt, biscuit, some marmalade. Taste: light sweet & bitter, lovely subtle-ish smoky vibes throughout. Medium body with soft carbonation. Nicely balanced, not overdone. Lovely.

Bottle from Cheese & Wine Shop, Darlington. Golden-blonde with a head. Hoppy and hiding its strength very well, its smokiness is evident in its aroma where some of its herbal notes are too, and it's pretty decent in its taste too. There's evidence of a very mild spice in the palate.

Bottle courtesy of the legend that is Peter Fowler. Consumed at home Thursday 7th February 2019 whilst cooking Lasagne and also a Mushy Pea Fish Pie, yes really a Mushy Pea Fish Pie. Pours gold with a light haze and a creamy textured white head. A steady smokiness combined with a slightly ramped up Golden, mmhhhh... interesting, however it works. A touch of sweet shopness is the only detraction

Bottle from Rehills of Jesmond. Appearance - golden and bright. Lovely lacy head. Nose - nectarine and a subtle smoke note. Taste - smoke dominates and there's still a stone fruit thing coming through. Palate - medium bodied, tangy yet crunchy through the middle. Dry crunchy finish. Overall - lovely stuff.
