Following the Blond and Brown Bink, the brewery launched a third type of beer: the Blossom Bink, on the occasion of the 50th consacration of the blossoms in 2000! We brew this seasonal beer every year in the same period (spring-summer). The ingredients are: five types of malts, one type of Belgian hops, brewing water, yeast, honey from Sint-Truiden and pear syrup from Vrolingen. It has a fruity taste with a slightly sweet tone and a long fruity and soft bittery aftertaste.

Tap at Maxβs. Reddish copper color, big off white head. Aroma of burnt caramel. Creamy, bittersweet taste with a hint of cherry candy. Mediocre.

Bottle:Hazy, clumps of yeast visible, medium-sized and creamy, extremely stable lacy off-white head; solid sweet-fruity nose (the label says honing and peren, but the aroma reminds You of raspberries...?!) with a light hoppy tartness underneath; moderate sweet flavour, medium bodied, creamy; increasing bitterness - also tartness - in the aftertaste, moderate sweetish-fruity and slightly bitter finish. Good summer drink..........

bottle. pours reddish dark, beige head. aroma is sugary, fruity with notes of blossom. Taste, had nice elements of honey which actually come from a region of Belgium with many pear/apple trees. Beer get this nice pear like mouthfeel, though sugary it doesnβt become too much to the palate. Overall mouthfeel is sweet with light floral hops and a nice malty presence that balance it out.

Medium-dark brown color with some orange, and a medium head. Fruity, sweet aroma, like cherry or raspberry soda pop. Cloying and slightly fake-feeling. No pear aroma at all. Sweet, fruity, pop-like flavor, with some caramel malts. Taste of strawberry or raspberry rather than pear. Overall, not the way I like my fruit beers. Too cloying and fake-tasting.

11.2 ounce bottle from City Beverage in Winston Salem, NC. Pours a clear dark ruby red color with a one finger head. Decent retention and lacing. Malty aroma with brown sugar, bread, dark fruits and tart cherries. Taste is... fruitcake. Bread, cherries, dark fruites. Bitter hop finish. Interesting.

Clear dakr amber with a huge beige head. Very perfurmed aroma with floral and lolipop notes. Flavour likewise. Almost cloying sweet. Not much bitterness in this candy beer. Not my thing I am afraid.

Bottle, 7.1%. The aroma starts dry, turns to berry and finishes with some yeast. Almost clear, nice deep red colour. The flavour is quite sweet, has a medium bitterness, slightly rough, perhaps some fruit bitterness. A tiny hint of fruit is overshadowed by the yeast flavour and a little vomit. The yeast is like many other Belgian beers, making this resemble a muddy dubbel to me. Not bad, just a tad unclean.

33cl bottle at BierCircus. Pours amber reddish with a small creamy head. Nose is sweet of dark fruits such as plum, berries and caramel. Full bodied. Mainly sweet but with a vague, only pleasant, sour note from the fruit. Warmth. Enjoyable!
