0.33 l bottle from ’De Bierkoning’, best before November 2016. Clear, amber with a large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-resiny aroma of mango, orange, tangerine, some honey and pine. Sweetish, fruity-resiny, minimally herbal taste of mango, orange, tangerine, some honey and pine, followed by short, medium bitter, resiny finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Quite nice, a bit on the malty side.

33 cl bottle @ home. Dark amber color, hazy. Big off white head, with a thin layer retention. Upon opening the bottle strong aroma of pine needles, quickly making way for more caramel malt, citrus and tropical fruit and light plastic. Retronasal it’s citrus, acidic, light malts. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light to medium bodied. Finishes with a herbal bitterness.
