Tap @ OIBF ’16 with Zlotta & Markoijelena. I didn’t realize this was with rooibos & lemon. Cloudy yellow color. White head with a thin layer retention. Aroma’s: resin, citrus, lemon-sourness. Retronasal it’s scitrus, lemon, moderate bitter. Flavor is rather bitter with some fruity sourness. Light bodied. Quite bitter finish. Nice.

Draft at Oedipus International Beer Festival. Very hazy orange with an off white head. Aroma is floral with citrus and herbal notes. Flavour is light sweet and above moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled from tap at the Oedipus International Beer Festival 2016. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, fruity-grassy aroma of lemon peel, pineapple and some rooibos. Slightly bitter, grassy-fruity taste of lemon peel, pineapple and some rooibos, followed by a short, slightly bitter, very dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

21st June 2016
Hazy gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is smooth, fairly dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Aromatic tea, floral and mildly perfumey, well blended with the mellow lemon. Trace of esters. Light finish. Characterful.

The spiced notes made this one a bit unbalanced and weird.
Looks good. Unclear yellow golde color with a fine thick off white head. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a smooth carbonation. Mild acidity and a moderate sweetness. Yeast, spices, citric, fruity and grassy.

04.06.2016, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry spiced, weeds, yeast, hay, flowers, bark, grass, black tea, minerals, spices. Taste is slightly dry grassy, weeds, yeast, flowers, grass, bark, paper, minerals, black tea, hay, spices. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and mineraly mouthfeel. I love rooibos tea, but this just don’t work for me...

Bottle from BBNo. It pours hazy orange with a small white head. The aroma is unmistakeably of rooibus tea, floral, baked beans, rice pudding and orange peel. The taste is crisp, lemon, orange peel, kumquat, straw, floral, spice and baked beans with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Interesting and pretty drinkable. I would say that I am not a huge fan of Rooibos, but this is ok.

Hazy blond colour. Lots of rooibos in the aroma. Flavour is fresh and clean with tart lemon and a background perfume of rooibos. Nice.

Draft at Kaapse fest. Aroma of herbs, yeast, grain and rooibos. Taste of sweet rooibos, yeast and grass, not much lemon.
