Glass, 25 cl, draught, drunk at Brussels Beer Project, after the 4th International Conference on Administrative Data Research, savoured on 13 December 2019; eye: black, opaque, good sheet of tan head that tapers off, no lacing; nose: malt, spent grains, raspberry, light coffee; mouth: malt, spent grains, raspberry, light coffee, alcohol, roasting, finale in spent grains with presence of bittering hops, full-bodied, below average carbonation, rather bitter, slightly sweet, slightly grated texture; in summary: correct

Bottle shared by TdeRoeck. Opaque dark brown color, average sized beige head. Aroma reminds me of pistachio nuts mixed with strawberry jam. Flavor is malts, brown malts, raspberry. Don't think I really get any cocoa. Malt bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Interesting beer!

21/XII/19 - 33cl bottle from the brewery, shared @ home, BB: 1st Q/I/20 - (2019-2168) Thanks to Dimi for the bottle!
Pretty clear dark brown to black beer, small irregular big bubbled head, little stable, falls down, bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, cow fodder, horse stable, weird, bit oxidized, some burnt toast. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit fruity, sourish, raspberries, very bitter roast, some alcohol, raspberry jam, more coffee, pretty acidic. Aftertaste: bitter and hoppy, some charcoal, some alcohol, roasted, bit of chocolate, sweet touch, bitter finish. Not bad, not great either.

Tasting glass from tap shared with Bierridder_S @ brewery (visited 15.3.) F: medium, tanned, average retention. C: black, opaque. A: a lot of cocoa, chocolate, raspberries, sweet cherries, candy sweetness. T: roasted malts, cocoa, raspberries, sweet milk chocolate, decent bitterness, medium to full body, dry on the palate, lower carbonation, very nice for me, enjoyed.

Draught at the Brewpub. Black with a tan head. Aroma of raspberry roast malt. Flavour is sticky fruity, toasted chocolate malt, burnt bitter, dry roast sharp base. Long bitter finish.

Taster glass @ BBP Taproom. Brune au col épais beige laissant léger filament doré au verre. Arôme au nez fruité marqué de suite par la framboise. Le tout garde une petite pointe d'acidité fruitée en rétro-nasal. Malt fin caramel et léger grillé en rétro. Palais est fruité - framboise avec une bonne base maltée - caramel, fin chocolaté. Sur les framboises, je retrouve le léger côté terreux et finement aigrelet. Effervescence moyenne qui rehausse l'effet aigrelet de la framboise qui continue en toute fin de bouche. Houblonné finement herbacé et léger agrumes.

31/01/2019 - tastng glass @BBP Taproom Brussels. Black to dark brown colour, medium dark tanned head. Nose is coffee, milk chocolate. Taste is coffee, milk chocolate, medium creamy. No rasberry at first, only at the end some red fruit touch came; OK but could be more outspoken.
