12-11-16 // bottle at home. From firmabier. Light hazy, murky orange coloured beer. White lacing. Punching sour nose. Taste is dominated by a tart sour note. Light aroma of gooseberries. Finishs with light herbal notes.

On tap at Bier-Bier, Helsinki. Light to moderate gold, hazy. Just a small ring of white head encircles the glass. Quince and raspberry fill the nose, accompanied by an obvious lactic sour. Gorgeous and all-encompassing tartness. Over-the-top yet focused. Long tart finish. Gooseberry fool in the aftertaste. Sublime.

[ As Põhjala Friedrichshain ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, pale malt, moderate yeast, tart, zest citrus, gooseberry. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, tart, dry, citric, zesty, gooseberry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160820]

Intensiver, nicht beißend saurer Antrunk. Vollmundig mit minimalen Hopfennoten, die deswegen erwähnenswert sind, weil sie bei Berliner Weisse sonst nicht vorhanden sind. Gleich bleibend, dennoch gelungen, langer Nachhall. 9/11/10/9/9/11
