Can from Booths, Media City. Slightly deeper amber ale with a very thin head. Has some gritty and tasty malts alongside an underlying tropical fruitiness. Its nose is similar and it has a fairly easy-drinking in its texture.

Bottle. Lactic caramel malt and weedy hay aroma. Amber with large tan head. Lightly sweet caramel malt, moderate sour milk, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Okay body. Not so good.
Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a semi-burnt dark orange almost red color with a quickly dissipating finger?s worth of white foamy head that left mild stringy lace.
The aroma starts floral touching down on a nice caramel to toffee malt base.
The flavor leads with the malts yet embraces a nice floral hoppy arrangement agreeing to balance nicely. Well balanced malts to hops aftertaste with a dry balanced finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good for the style and for me.
Overall, nicely done amber ale that I would have again.

Fra flaske på Mi2, Cardinal okt-16: kobbergylden med fint skum. Karamell, appelsinkjeks, sukat og noe ubestemmelig nøtteaktig. Floral avslutning. Tørr. Kjenner ikke at de har brukt "a ridiculous and obscene amount of West Coast hops" - hvor har de tatt veien?

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 24.10.16. Dark golden. Small off-white head. Aroma and taste of bitter oranges, sweet malt, succade, lychee, thyme and mint. Quite dry.

355 ml bottle, as Crazy Mountain Sheamus Amber Ale, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.25%, IBU 25. Amber colour, moderate white (or slightly off-white) head. Strong aroma of herbal, spicy and fruity hops, hints of caramel. Slightly dry flavour, still with hints of caramel, and plenty of earthy and herbal hops, some fruit and wood too. Woody aftertaste. Not very bitter though, but some bittering hops come through in the aftertaste. .
