Bottle at home. Aroma is malt, biscuit, some caramel, buttery notes, touch of dusty hops. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Even for an English IPA this is shockingly unhoppy. Furthermore, it’s rather dusty and unfresh. Amateuristic stuff.

Bottle. Color: Hazy orange-brown amber, off-white head. Aroma: Caramel malty, hop. Taste: A lot of caramel malt, some burnt sugar, some floral hop. Slick oily mouthfeel. Light citrus hints. Soapy hints. Mwah, not a fan of this beer.

On tap at Brouwcafé de Hofnar, Scheveningen, Netherlands, Saturday 29th September 2018 on a stunning sunny day and the last day of our holiday Pours reddy amber with a sticky white head atop. It's hoppy but leans more towards a maltier interpretation. Fine but I marginally prefer the Pilsner. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov12 3.2

Bottle Thnx to the In-laws. Pours dark and unclear amber, huge white head. Smell is bit malty. Taste is bit bitter, some maltyness. Weird, almost roasty ambermaltaspects. Mild metallic notes. Doesn’t have the right hoppyness / the right kinds of hops to really make this an IPA to me.. it misses freshness and typical hoparoma. Bit too high carbonation. OK in general, decent bitterness, but far below average for the style.
