Peach Berliner Weisse is a German-style tart wheat beer that’s perfect for the hot summer months. Using only the best Missouri peaches, we turned an easily overdone style into a refreshing and light bodied summer beer.

Bottle, 75cl. It’s a lightly hazy golden beer topped by a minimal-sized off-white head. The aroma has some peaches and a citrusy touch, but it’s quite weak. Slightly uninteresting too. Some malty sourness. The flavor is quite weak as well, with a pleasant taste of peaches. Some citrusy sourness too. Short finish. It’s quite thin on the palate, dry and effervescent. Easy drinkable, but a tad boring I think. 131123

Draft at Capital Ale House Harrisonburg. Pours a mild hazy golden color with a thin fizzy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of peaches, citrus, butter, earthy and vegetal notes. The taste is peach, peach pits, buttery malts, vomit. Medium bodied, lingering tartness. This is just awful, and I’m really hoping this is a bad keg.

Bottle, big thanks to Deeblo. It pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is fresh, peachy, apricot, yoghurt, and light mustiness. The taste is tart, sherbet, cloudy lemonade, lactic, peach, grapefruit and moderate acidity with a crisp tart finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp, well-balanced and very drinkable.
