Beginning as a saison and finishing as something more enigmatic, Yuzu combines Japanese citrus and Belgian yeast, with restrained hopping to create a light, lively beer accentuated by mild tartness and minerality. Yuzu is a tremendously aromatic fruit: you’ll smell the beer being poured from across the room. The combination of fruit and saison characteristics creates a dramatic nose of freshly-peeled clementines, all pith and bright orange. The acidity helps smooth and hone the minerality that gives the simple beer complexity, and allows for a crisp but memorable finish

Tap at the source. Clear orange pour, with a medium white head. Aroma is herbal, a grassy lime, and strong yuzu zest. It has a gin, botanical quality also. Mouth feel is fantastic with a beautiful carb. The finish is low to medium bitter with a soft, herbal, citrus finish with some light cereals. Incredibly clean and crisp, endlesslt sessionable. Outstanding.

Nose shows nice balance of funk and citrus notes. Body has nice depth, but palate is a bit heavy for the ABV. Still the yuzu is super well intergrated with a slightly herbal funky taste. Modestly clean. I prefer my saisons drier and more bitter, but this is good.

This is the perfect late spine drinks. Low alcohol, snappy saison with yuzu citrus notes. So refreshing with just enough zesty spice and citrus to keep you coming back. Lightly dry without being drying. An ice filled cooler and a case of these would be perfection.

Golden colour with a few tiny bubbles, a frothy-bubbly white cap, decent retention and some light lacing patches all-around. Big citrus nose with the yuzu. Hints of sweetness to balanced from the straw malts. This continues into the taste, but milder as only 4.1% ABV. Gets a little hazy as it pours. The mouthfeel is slightly tarty with some some dryness. An easy-drinking, refreshing light Saison.

Nice tang from the yuzu, a bit of a rice lager-esque body, and a dry finish. Quite refreshing.

Poured from the tap. Slightly hazy gold with small white head. Lots of nice yuzu notes, dry citrus peel finish. Enjoyable.

Can LCBO. Smells like Australian lemon squash, citrus-y with a bite. Taste fairly light, but with a peppery bite, lemons, citrus pith bitterness that rolls into a general bitterness in the finish. Quite nice.

Can: Poured an amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of fresh yuzu with fresh citrus notes and some light rustic malt notes is quite pleasant. Taste is also a nice mix of fresh yuzu notes with some citrusy notes with some rustic malt with light floral ester. Body is about average with good carbonation. Easy drinking with right amount of complexity.
