16 oz can. Aroma is bready, peppery, herbal. Pours hazy pale golden with a two finger fluffy off-white head with great retention. Taste has a nice herbal bitterness backed by unobtrusive bready malt sweetness. Crisp, clean, crushable. Kind of damn near perfect Pilsner.

On tap at Ale Arsenal. Pourls slightly hazed straw with small white head that fades to small bubbles around the outside. Faint patterns down the side. Bread, flowers and perfume aroma. Doughy richness in the flavor. Rich malt and grassy. Finishes moderately dry. Great beer.

can. Pours clear pale yellow, small white head, good residual and lacing. Aroma is bready, grass, grain, noble hop, biscuit. Flavor is dry, light plus bitter, crisp. Light body. Prolly not the best choice for a slushy with whipped cream on top, but a dam fine lager

Tap at the Santa Cruz taproom. Hazy golden, bright. Grainy, herbal nose. Rich, fruity hops flavor, grains, bread, lemon, herbs. Slick, silky body.Seems like genuine noble hops, but definitely dry hopping or at least hugely late hopping. Nice, though more American than continental.

Poured from a 32 oz growler I picked up at the Portal. Aroma is grain forward with light earthy, woodsy, spicy hop notes. Faint floral notes. Pours a surprisingly clear, pale, yellow gold with a medium large, thick, pillowy white head that steadily recedes to a small, thin film that lingers on the edges. Moderate lacing and no legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with a decently dry, crisp finish. Moderate grain notes with a faint toasted, biscuit quality to it. Moderate bitterness with light hop notes. Hops are woodsy, herbal and a touch floral. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent pilsner. Clean fermentation with nice malt and hop notes.
