Huber Bock has traditionally provided a creamy texture and rich flavor to beer lovers all over Wisconsin. It has a fine, malty body like the bocks of southern Germany, but is drier than the typical bocks of Bavaria. Huber Bock is made with Brewer's Two-Row Malt, Carapils Malt, Black Malt and domestic hops.

Bottle shared with Button, under a tree, at Ripon races, 18th May. Clear, dark red. Bubbly, off white head. Looks good. Went downhill after, though. Overly sweet fruitiness. Taste and palate are syrupy. Sweet finish. Not for me.

Bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. Dark brown beer with lasting dark beige head. Good brown malty aroma. Decent malty bock beer. I like the malts on this. The brown malts. Actually quite fresh and a lot better than I was expecting. Decent. Not quite got the alcohol or sweetish effect of a good German bock.

Ruby caramel brown, clear, frothy off white head
Aroma - Malty, caramel, some dark fruits, hint of raisin, slight coffee and chocolate, very slight metallic note
Taste as aroma, sweet dark malts, smooth caramel, soft dark fruits, a hint of some cheapish coffee and chocolate, slight touch of cardboard, but it’s actually quite pleasant despite the flaws.
Palate - Light to medium body, smooth texture, fairly sweet palate. Finish as main flavour with a clean finish, tail of soft sweet coffee
Overall - It’s actually quite nice even though it’s a bit flawed.....

12 fl oz bottle. Pours golden deep amber with a small off white head. Aroma is fruity, toasted malty and caramelish. Sweet, caramelish and toasted. Light toffee and mild fruity. Sweet and fruity finish.
