A modern take on a classic American Pilsner, brewed with Pilsner malt and a small percentage of flaked rice for a light body and malt character. Hopped exclusively with Amarillo hops from throughout the boil and then dry-hopped with Amarillo as well for a tropical, peachy aroma and medium bitterness.

In 2015, this was Gibsons B Pilsner. Name change to Amarillo Pilsner in 2016.

22 oz bottle poured, gifted by mcberko. Thanks, Matt! After only a couple of years of hearing about this secret gem from up north, I finally get to dive in and try it myself. Pours a clean and shiny golden pour with a full set of foam head and lacing. Aroma is pleasant, bready gains, crackers, modest grassy hops. Taste is a crisp and refreshing front, similar makeup as the aroma. Grassy hops are present, though there is a slight lemon citrus cool quality to pair. Crisp front, but a smooth finish. Almost creamy. A solid pils here, and one that can really stand up to my favorite, being the B15 Gloria. Very nice beer here.

After a few recommendations I decided to search this bad boy out. Golden with a semi-creamy white head. First, this is a glorious beer. It is soft I. All the right spots with enough bite to keep ya going. Citrus, some grass. This might seem like a stretch but minus the citrus the overall feel is similar to PU unfiltered. Great beer.

Tap at Alibi. Glowing, bright, deep, clear gold with a medium, thick head. Grassy nose, citrus, orange, herbs, a bit husky, corn. Fruity sweetness, malty, creamy like Sorachi even though they don't use them, peaches, crackers, biscuits. Quite bitter. Creamy-sorachi-like lemon too. Grassy, herbal bitterness. Pretty awesome. Great noble hop character coming from that Amarillo too. Really works. Second best in the world, no, but great.

Darby’s: pours golden with white head. Aroma is tropical fruity: amarillo shining nicely. Body is bitter, fruity and smooth. My wife drank most of this and much more quickly than ahe usually does.

650 ml bottle. Pours a light clear gold with moderate head. Very floral aromas with additional notes of limes and crisp grains. Flavors follow same though emphasis on bitter tropical fruit and super clean grains/malts (maybe rice?). A nice experiment - this could be a killer summer beer.

Bottle - Great citrus and spicy hop notes with a touch of grain. Clear gold with a rich white head. Light hoppy and a nice bitterness in the finish. Very nice and easy drinking, well done.

650mL bottle, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is wonderful, with biscuity malt, some grass, crisp hoppiness and crackery malt. Flavour is wonderfully balanced, with loads of grassy hops, crisp crackery malt and a great astringent finish. One of the most flavourful pilsners I've had. This is truly phenomenal.
