Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: transparent yellow color with some bubbles seen rising at a nice pace, two and a half fingers of white foamy head dissipated nicely to leave some sly lace
Aroma: crisp clean malts with light grassy to earthy hops
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas together semi-sweet with a touch of floral hop component (not sure why I didn't smell that); mild finish of clean malts and some grassy hops
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, fair smoothness on the tongue
Overall: pretty nicely done pilsener I could return to.

Can. Pours a clear light straw yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice grass and a light pine with some straw and grain supporting. Flavor is grass forward with a bit of straw, hay and light citrus rind.

On tap at St. Augustine's, Vancouver. Straw colour. No head, but that's the norm at this establishment. Has a lightly grassy aroma. Has light bitterness, some straw malts...not great but a good, basic American pilsner. I would prefer a bit more of both hop and malt, but it's all good.

Clear golden coloured body with a large, five centimetre tall pure white head that fades quite nicely, but leaves an ugly lace on the side of the glass. Aroma of some grass and hay, along with a touch of perfume and light citrus, but a lot of banana and bubble gum yeast esters floating around, very nice smelling and incredibly complex, especially for a lager. Light-bodied; Strong flavours of lemons, citrus, grass, hay, bananas and oranges up front with a lighter smooth flavor of yeast, citrus and dry grasses near the end. Aftertaste shows a very refined beer with the citrus, dry notes and sweetness coming out towards the end, but incredibly smooth and drinking more of a saison or a biere de garde rather than a pilsener. Overall, a very nice beer and well worth trying to find, even if you don't typically like the style, this is one that is worth getting to re-develop your appreciation for the style. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia at the end of my driveway for US$2,49 on 04-July-2017, but sampled at my other 'home' on the Eastern Shore of Virginia in Pungoteague, Virginia on 01-September-2017.
