IPA - Session New England / Hazy Regular Out of Production
Score
7.24
ABV: 3.5% IBU: - Ticks: 7
Brewed by Timothy Wareman (Morebeer Brewing) and Erik and Peter Rouwen (Brouwerij Noordt). To test the pilot of Brouwerij Noordt, Timothy suggested to brew a New England IPA. Erik and Peter first thought of a session IPA and so the brewers decided to go for a New England Session IPA. The pilot batch was slightly hoppier in taste and had an ABV of 3,5%, but thereafter they decided to emphasize fruitiness of the taste and aroma and now this lovely beer is tapped with an ABV of 3%, making it the ideal beer for the summer.

Draft @ Beer Temple. Murky yellow color. White head. Aroma’s: herbal hops, retronasal it’s hops, juicy, herbal. Flavor is a bit juicy, soft, light malty. Light bodied. Not much going on in the finish, but still a good burp. Not at its peak anymore, but still enjoyable.

Tap. Pours very hazy yellow gold, large creamy white head, dispatching slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is a bit light, loads of melon, lime, pine. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter. Odd flavor note; Curry??. Light body, soft pillowy mouthfeel

Sampled at Week van Het NL Bier 2017 @ Grote Kerk Den Haag. Hazy juicy yellow golden with white head. Sweet malt, very fruity and juicy and the right level of weedy hop aroma. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body, juicy feel, light chalky. This is where I wanna be.
