Keg at GBBF. It pours lightly hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, juicy, tangy, peach, orange, greengages, melon and honey. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, wood, tangy, juicy, brioche, melon, apple, spice and tannin with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Good aroma. Not bad overall.

330 ml. bottle @ home. BBF 02/2018. Bottle says drink fresh but that isn’t all that easy if you don’t know the bottling date. Darker amber orange, off-white low tanned big bubble creamy white. Nose is hugely fruity, huge oily fruity grapefruit peel finishing with syrupy caramel & sticky pine resin, big hop, base oily sweetness. Taste is dry bitter orange peel, pleasantly warming finish, big creamy caramel, toffee, orange peel base, lingering bitter almost medicinal pine resin & orange peel, some bitter sprouting grains in the back. Very bitter in a good way. Creamy oily caramel malt base. This really hit the spot, just what I wanted, beautifully executed old school Pine Resin IPA with great caramel malt base. Works perfectly. I have been into these guys for a while & they deserve more recognition.
