This amber poured a cloudy dark amber colour with a creamy, beige coloured head. Very nice lacing. Scents include bread, oats,roasted nuts and a little wood. First swig was nice and smooth with delicious flavours of malty goodness, basement flavours and oats with some wood and light smoke. Finish is woody with malty smoke lingering.

Keg at Brothers Beer Bistro, Ottawa. Clear copper colour, mid sized head. Fruity nose with toast and notes of red apples. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Lightly earthy with some bread and caramel, mild spicy hops. Mid bitter finish.

Can. Nose is metal, a bit of hop, touch of caramel. Amber-orange, clear, with a fine head. Caramel flavor turns dry, a bit of minerals and earth. Creamy and drinkable but so bland.

Can from the brewery. Clear deep amber with a small off white head leaving some sparse lace. Nose is bread and caramel. Medium light sweet caramel with a bit of fruit. Medium thin slick mouth with a slightly dry finish and slightly soft carbonation.

On tap at the Ottawa Beerfest. An opaque amber brown pour. A rich bready caramel malty pour. Malty grainy aroma. Sweet malty bitter beer a lean alt / nice.

A clear amber alt with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, grainy notes and light spicy notes. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with mineral notes, grassy hops, nice and smooth with light woody character. On tap at Arrow and Loon.
