Bottle. Pours clear golden, small fizzy white head, dissipates fairly quickly, good lacing. Aroma is funky, oak tannin, bugs, citrus, lemon, tangerine, more bugs, Brett. Flavor is medium tart and quite citric, medium musty brett funk, vinous note. Medium body. Quite pleasant.

From KBL’s bottle. Fabulous nose of apricot, nectarine, some yogurt. Muddy gold color. Sour, with lots of rich tart stone fruit all the way, nectarine, bit of pineapple, citrus. Delicious.

I’ve been holding on to this for awhile and I finally said "fuck it, I’m opening it".
This has held up much nicer than Yer Bu, it’s Saison Quatrieme a wild farmhouse ale aged in oak wine barrels and dry hopped with Mosaic & El Dorado.
The nose wafting off this is incredible and is making my mouth water: tropical fruits, candy, pineapple when I bring the glass close I get oak, an acidic tartness, white wine and a dab of vinegar.
Medium to light bodied with a soft round carbonation. This is a wild ride of a beer: acidic, apple vinegar, starburst candy, oak, tart berries & some white wine character.
If I gave this to you and said it was a tart white white with a dry finish I think many would believe it. Very very cool stuff.

Sample at M’kReam’s 40th Birthday Party on 08/01/2015. Hazy pale golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of herbal yeast, fruit and oak. Medium body with a vinous oak character and notes of yeast, citrus and hops. The finish is oaky and fruity with an earthy yeast aftertaste. Good brew all around.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a hazy orange gold with no head. The aroma is strong mosaic, funk, oak, grass. Thin mouth, juicy hop, lime and salt, nice tartness, really nice.

Poured from a bottle. Aroma is full of tropical fruit, especially pineapple. Nice citrus notes and other tropical fruit as well. Light grass and herbal notes. Light stone fruit notes. Pours a cloudy, pale gold with a small white head that lingers nicely. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is fairly acidic with a slight wheat and malt note. Moderate citrus notes with some nice tropical fruit and pineapple. Light herbal and floral hop notes with low bitterness. Really nice hop character. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice hop character that works with the acidic base character of the saison. A bit too acidic, but pretty nice. Lots of fruitiness.
