Taster at Kenwood Liquors. Okay beer. A small bit of spice. I think I can call it pumpkin pie spice, but I really don’t catch anything I can call pumpkin. Still, halfway decent. There’s just a lot of the word "Belgian" being used on the label like it somehow refers to the beer.

Pours a clean deep amber colour with a nice creamy light beige head that stays a while and creates decent lacing at the base. Malty aromas of caramel and pumpkin, but not much spices. Wet mouthfeel with not much stickiness. Mild roasted malt taste with just a little pumpkin (and still not many spices). A watery pumpkin ale that is alright for those who find the spices too much in most pumpkin ales.

12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a Trappist glass. Pours a slightly cloudy dark orange with no head. Light aroma of caramel, nuts and pumpkin. Taste is medium sweet. Pumpkin, caramel and lots of sugar. Maybe a very little cinnamon. Medium bodied with a thin yet somewhat creamy texture. Lively carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, not awful, but not that good either. Probably my least favorite pumpkin beer. Might be a decent addition to pumpkin cookies or something like that, but I won’t be drinking it again.

12 oz bottle kindly given to me by my in-laws. Pour is a clear golden orange with a slightly off white one inch head. Interesting swirling carbonation bubbles on the pour. The aroma is pumpkin meat, light clove spice and semi-sweet maltiness. Flavors are clean, though subdued. The taste is spice and nutmeg up front, turns to the pumpkin than finishes with the mildly sweet malt. Decent balance of flavors, though the nutmeg comes on a biy heaby in the finish. The palate is medium bodied, with the spice and nutmeg finish. Overall, decent use of pumpkin in a beer, certainly drinkable.

just so strange when all youve been having for so long are good quality, bottle conditioned craft beer, and then someone hands you this, and there is such a difference that its almost tough to believe. very little aroma, color was fine but nothing special, flavor matched the aroma, pumpkin, yes, but a little malt sweetness, and nothing more interesting, over carbonated, "fat" bubbles. forgettable.

At a party: Amber with off-white head. Aroma is of malts and a small amount of pumpkin spice. Basically, this is a pretty drinkable beer and the pumpkin spice gives the malts a little boost. It is made to be not all that interesting or complex... but it gets the job done in terms of being a sessionable brew. Way better than the other macro pumpkin I had (Jack’s Pumpkin Spice).

12 Oz. bottle from a variety pack. poured an orange color with an off-white head and light lacing. Nose is pumpkin and nothing else. Light mouthfeel. Flavor is not near as strong as the nose and while still pumpkin is very bland. Dry finish There are a lot of better pumpkin flavored ales around, but this is drinkable.
