The hardest part about making new and exciting hoppy beers is sourcing the hops you need. Most hops are bought under contracts which are signed two or three years in advance. We occasionally get opportunities to acquire small quantities of specialty hops that are enough for one batch of beer, but no more. This beer allows us to feature hops that we would otherwise not be able to make use of.

Draft. Poor light shows a clear gold thin lasting head. Aroma is Pilsner malt with a earthy / floral hops.
Flavor is floral notes up front with pale/ Pilsner malt base. Body is pretty good for a lager based brew. The finish has herbal and pine hint. The variety of hops is interesting but on the earthy end of the spectrum. Bitterness is mild but shows. Pretty tasty.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a creamy, white head. Rich and astringent hop aroma, very minerally. Medium body, very dry fruitiness and then a massive dose of bittering hops. Not the most sophisticated. 301014
