Bottle. Light, almost imperceptible, grainy malt aroma. Slightly hazy golden with a large white head, moderate lacing. Very light, slightly sweet grainy malt flavor. Light watery body, moderate carbonation. Doesn’t taste bad, but doesn’t have much flavor. Would work for the lawnmower.

Bottle from the Folsom BevMo. Pours light gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is bready with light noble hop. Med minus body. Flavor is bready, with some herbal and noble hop aspects. It’s bitter in the finish. Beats Bud Light anyday.

Bottle. Pours a highly carbonated gold with aromas of apple and pear juice. Flavor is similar... Kind of a highly carbonated fruit juice with a bit of astringent alcohol added just for funsies. I find it a very poor attempt at the style.

Bottle @ home. Clear, golden yellow orange appearance with a white head. Pale grainy malty, grassy hoppy nose. Sweet, bland, pale malty, bitter, fairly nasty flavor. Pretty crappy.

12 oz. From summer mix pack. Light golden color with small ring of white head. Moderate carbonation. Nose of grain and light corn. Taste and nose are the same with a light, mild hop in the background. An oily mouthfeel that finishes rather smooth. Overall a simple slightly below average for the style.

Pours very light amber color with off white head. Sweet fruit and biscuit malt aromas. Light citrus, grassy and malty flavors. Light body with lively carbonation and a crisp finish.

Overall Impression: I actually think this is one of the better beers for its style in the Summer mixer, it’s not a great beer, but it is solid for the style for sure.

Crystal clear golden/light copper coloured body with a thin white head and tons of bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of metal, tart hops, cardboard, malt and some citrus. Light-bodied; Astringent taste up front with very little qualities, some malt - mostly cardboard followed off by water and more water. Aftertaste nothing at all - fades from bad flavour to nothing at all. Overall, a horrible beer - exactly what i’d expect from Sary. Thanks to Andy for letting me try this one. I got this twelve ounce bottle pulled from a Saranac Summer 12 pack and sampled it on 02-July-2005.

12 oz. bottle. Golden amber pour with a small head. Aroma of straight malt with a honeylike sweetness. Grainy taste with grassy notes and a green-apple like fruitiess. A little watery and thin.

Very clear golden body with a medium frothy white head. Sweet light honey, slight corn, and a hint of fruitiness. Light grain and corn, and a hint of banana. Medium body, moderately high carbonation and a sticky finish.
