Post gig-beers in a heavy metal brewery, love it. Nice juicy, yet strongly hopped IPA. Low carbonation.

Tap at Thrash Zone. Nice bitterness, bit buttery, good stuff though, grapefruit and pine.

Hazy copper with a white head. Hoppy but muted a bit by the malt. Harsh hip bite in the backend. A classic style IPA. Dig.

Keg at Thrash Zone Meatballs - Tomohama. Pours clear orange with a creamy topping. Ripening citrus fruits in the nose, piney hops, background bready malts. Light to medium sweet with steady bready malts, more piney hops, some bitter pine and grass, melon. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish, with more ripe citrus, orange, piney bitterness, melon, papaya. Good and sturdy IPA.

Tap at TZ. Big, classic NW nose: pine and orange with a touch of grapefruit. Good carbonation, medium body. Bitter, pithy orange finish. Good stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Speed Kills on 11 Jun 2016 at 19:34 - Score: 7. Original review text: Classic northwest nose. Pine , orange. Greatness.

Pours darker amber, filled to the edge with no room for head. Aroma is as it should be for an IPA - earthy happiness, fresh. Taste displays also some earthy citric hops, dry body but thick mouthfeel, feels somewhat unbalanced but maybe this is just being edgy. Overall, nice beer, robust, earthy and awesome.

light amber color. Earth, wood, Cheries and apples I. The nose. Big malt backbone. With full on malt assault . Tons of dried fruit and wood. Really nice balance but a bit of diactyle. Nice big bitter finish. Very good.

Tap at Thrash. Deep orange-amber. Resiny nose, lots of pine, some butter, light caramel, nice sweetness. Great resins. A rather old school IPA, very malty, hugely bitter. Enjoyable.

A reddish amber pour with an off-white head. a clear amber pour with a citrusy floral hop nose. The taste is pretty balanced, hoppy but with enough of a malt backbone.
