16oz can, pink version for the 2020 Olympics I think. Pours a clear gold with some white, sticky head. Nose is a bit trashy, vegetal, straw. Flavor has malt, stale grist, grass. Finishes trashy. Bad beer finally!

Bottle. Pale gold body with thin fast disappearing head. Grainy and grassy aroma, rather faint. Thin, very thin body with a little hop. No finish. I cannot understand beer deliberately without a finish.

Has a slightly grainy taste, light pale malts and the faintest hint of fruity hop. A shade fizzy and also a little bit of grainy sourness in the finish.

Better than the original super dry for sure. A little more body and slightly more hops on the finish. Really not that terrible for a macro lager.

Can sample at a tasting at Stas’s place. Thanks Stas. Clear yellow. Aroma of cooked vegetables and skunk. Rather dry flavor with light sweetness, cooked vegetables, and a bit of bitterness. Light-bodied.

The original dry, a dryer, more neutral version of the already very neutral genre of standard lager, for people who like their beer with as little beer taste as possible. The style seems to have been popular in the nineties in especially Japan and the U.S.. This one has a very light golden colour and snow white, stable head, and the expected neutral character with low maltiness, crisp and clean, grassy, leafy hops in the finish, minerals, with a thin and watery mouthfeel. As inoffensive and boring as possible but I must admit it is a perfect thirst-quencher and I’d rather have this for that particular purpose than another corn-sweetish bad standard lager.

My buddy’s Tony’s gift to me, thanks! I like the gold can. Typical crystal clear lager pour with a thin off-white head. Medium bodied with a zesty carbonation. The taste is fruity, grapes, corn, sugary sweet but not so cloying, and a little biscuity with a light hop bitterness in the clean finish. Decent but kind of boring.

Can from Yamaya. Says it uses Amarillo hops, among others, plus domestic “Golden Malt”. Usually only for gift packages, but I guess some leaked out. Fruity nose, lemon, maybe a bit of peachy Amarillo, grainy. Maybe a bit better than the regular. Some fruity sweetness, orange, bread, melon. A bit estery, with dry finish. Clean. A bit fruitier and richer than usual. Not terrible. Not at all special though.
