650 ml bottle. Pours a dark clear amber with light head and moderate carbonation. Very light aromas of pine and caramel. Certainly not bold. Flavors of bitter hops - leaning towards the Golding. Not much else other than a bitter finish. Disappointing.

Bottle - Oddly medicinal and sweet. Clear copper with a decent off white head. Very sweet and a bit of pine. Very long finish. Not bad if a little sweet, but the nose is just so odd.

Bottle. Pours orange with pillowy white head. Much lacing. Aroma is not bold, citrus hop. Full bodied flavour, more hop with a little pine. Long lasting finish.

Draught at CBB. Deep orange to light amber color with a low head. Clear. Tinny, citrus nose, some grass. Light malt flavor, honey, stone fruits, sweet orange. Rather sweet but a nice bitter, peppery finish. Refreshing and drinkable, though not so exciting.

At the Craft Beer Base IPA event. It poured a nice clear golden color with a thick fluffy head. It had a mild aroma and a nice malty base. The flavor was sweet & spicy and it was well-balanced. Very good sessionable IPA!

Location: 22 oz bottle from Total Wine-McLean, 2/15/13
Aroma: The nose has some caramel and crystal malts, with a bit of grapefruit, and some light pine hops
Appearance: It pours an unclear orange color with a thin off-white head and some fairly light lace
Flavor: The flavor of this one is mid-bitter with some malts and some plus-residual sweetness
Palate: The body is medium, it is a touch sticky, with plus-carbonation and a dry, slightly off finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was an alright beer, but it doesn't really come together all that well. There's no major flaw here, thought the "off" finish is probably the most obvious flaw . It's a fine beer though, and it has a nice, strong hop presence to it.

2012-12-22, draught at the brewpub, 6-4-7-3-13=33
Clean golden color with creamy head. The aroma has some caramel, but rather simple, while the caramel flavor is quite good; as many other beers from Scuttlebutt, it has some residual sweetness; good bitterness level, although the hop qualities are moderate, some sturdy resins, maybe Cascade, less fresh character than is expected in WA; the final tends to be just slightly too bitter.
Good, but not exciting.
2012-08-02, bottle from QFC - Seattle (Ballard), 7-4-7-4-14=36
Hazy amber color. Aroma of toffee, cookies, some hops. Good caramel and toffee flavor, a bit toasted, with cake accents; strong bitterness, with a light lemon cookie trait.
A bit heavy on the flavor profile, but nice overall.

The pour gushed out of the glass telling me that this was highly carbonated. Hazy gold with a sticky off-white head. Citrusy hop aroma with a subtle mintyness. Lightly bitter flavor. Somewhat one-dimensional. A bit thin.

Bottle. Pours orange-y/amber with dense foamy head and aromas of herbs and caramel. Flavor is about half way between American and English takes on the style. There is a bunch of the resin and citrus in there, but the majority of the hops push in the herbal and medicinal direction.
