Terminal Gravity IPA is a copper to honey colored ale with a rich malt character and a clean bitter hop finish. This full bodied beer uses malts from Scotland, Belgium and the Pacific Northwest to achieve a slightly nutty lightly toasted taste. Yeast esters provide hints of stone fruits like apricot and peach, while hops from Yakima and Eastern Europe provide grapefruit and spicy notes.

Hazy caramel in color with a small tan head. Blindsided by the intense honey aroma. Citric and pine hops as well. My curiosity is definitly peaked. Thick, smooth body. Flavor is heavy on the caramel malts. Nice pine hops presence, some earth tones and very mild citrus. Bitter on the tongue, but that is overpowered by the malts. Though I liked this beer, the flavor is all over the map. I wish it was blended better as the malts and hops don’t seem to come together in any sort of harmony. Dissapointed? No. I may have to give this a second go before I really know where I stand with this IPA.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream-colored head. Grapefruit and pine aroma. Nice grapefruit/pine/caramel flavor. Medium body. Easy drinking. Lingering grapefruit.

Draft at The Bistro’s IPA Fest; Nose of light citrus hops; Lightly hazed dark gold with a large glass-lacing offwhite head; flavor of light hop bitterness and caramel. Well balanced.

Bottle. Not much aroma. Poured medium copper with foamy white head. Much lacing. Very hoppy flavour but balanced, with hoppy finish that lasts. Good beer with sushi

Hazy amber, small beige head, scarce bead. Earthy, woody nose.Very woody taste, good malt backbone, medium bitter finish. The extreme woodiness spoils it for me, I find it somewhat offensive on the palate

Real ale (or at least unpasteurized). Very nice hop - pine, floral and maybe citrus. Could be a bit of malt tagging along. Light amber color with a hugely frothy, lacing off-white head. Full bodied. Almost creamy. Malt, floral, bit of pine. Floral develops more after a bit. I am losing the citrus somewhere. Some malty sweetness towards the finish, and there is a very nice balance at the end. Kind of earthy in a way, but a good way. Perhaps an ESB on steroids.

Bottled (thanks kenb!). Cloudy golden/orange/nutbrown mix with a creamy white mediumsized head. Aroma is strong flowery hops with hints of caramel. Flavour is flowery and fruity hops with some caramel mixed in. Finish and aftertaste is mainly flowery hops and some freshly cut grass. Pleasant one.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Hazy, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Fat, grapefruitish citrus aroma. Medium body with light caramel notes and then again this distinct citrus hoppiness in the finish. Lovely. Courtesy of JCapriotti. 151206

On tap at Rose & Raindrop, Portland. Hazy copper colour with thin beige head. Cat’s pee hop aroma. Fairly watery in mouth. Decent hit of hop on end. Bit cat’s peeish though. Acidic, but then decent malt stops it being disgusting.
