Draught. Pitch black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is sweet malts, some roasted tones with mild liquorice and some chocolate. Flavour is roasted, chocolaty, some toffee, liquorice, mild bitter floral/wooden tones.

At Kerstbierfestival 2016. Thnx for sharing ! Pours black, ok white head. Smell is sharp, roasted malts. Bit sweet. Taste is sharp, roasted malts. bit sweet, some coffee, nor too bad. Creamy MF , low carbo. Not great, but certainly decent !

Bottle sampled at Essen Christmas Beer Festival ’16. Black with a small beige head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, spice, caramel, fudge and light coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

[Thank you for sharing!][Sampled draft @ O.B.E.R. Kerstbierfestival 2016] Black with a HUGE tanned head. Nose is sweet bit neutral umami, red grape, mocha, sugar, candy, instant coffee. Taste is bit emty mocha, sugar, thin gravy herbal, basic umami, instant coffee, sugar, red grape,... Body is thin gravy, instant coffee. It is an okay beer, drinks alright but it felt a bit empty especially for the style, definitely expected something thicker & richer.
