It seems like this varies quite a bit. The version I had was very much on point. Absolutely delicious and refreshing with a good amount of citrus hops without being a hop bomb. Medium bitterness balanced by toasted malts. Medium bodied. Lovely Amber orange pour. This is one of those pales that is full of flavor but doesn’t get in the way of a good night out. Would love a few more rounds.

Draught at Market St. Copper-gold with lace. Faint nose of bready malt, hay and citrus, some pine. Bready flavor—fresh and doughy, yeasty. Citrus hops, hay, pepper. Refreshing but too yeasty.

Tap. Poured hazy copper with thick white head. Moderate lacing. Aroma midway between a pale and an IPA, hoppier than a pale, but not so as an IPA. Hoppy flavour, with a caramel malt note, like Hennie’s Cape ale. Good resiny and bitter finish.
