Slightly hazy golden with a thin white head. Slightly sweet, yeast, some light spice, bright tropical fruit in the aroma. Medium body. Plenty more fruit in the flavor, like mango and berries. Finish has a slight yeast bite. Not complex yet nice.

Tap at Keyaki. Pale yellow, small white head. Aroma is herbal, yeasty, Belgian, nice, bit earthy. Taste is strawberry, grainy, herbal, coriander, white pepper. Maybe not so wildly exciting, but pretty nice. Bit of mango and citrus towards end.

On tap at Raku. Pours a clear golden yellow color with a medium white head. Peppery, lemon, biscuit. Smooth, sweet at times but earthy overall, mild citrus grows, lemon especially, yeasty. Nice.

Poured from 330mL bottle (2016.5.28 - 2016.8.26). Cloudy yellow with minimal white head. Yeast, spicy, coriander, pepper. More of a Belgian wit than a Saison. Fairly well done.

Bottle, 5.5%. Hazy straw with a white head that fades to a coat quickly. 3 Promising aroma is wheaty, fruity (grapes, under-ripe nectarines, green mango), funky and spicy (white pepper). A little bit of peachy bubblegum in the taste as well. It’s light bodied with lowish carbonation for a saison. Dry but not austerely so at the end. Really nice - quaffable with a little intrigue, a balance of fruit funk spice and bitterness.

On tap at Ban K Sapporo Craft Beer Forrest summer 2014. Hazy yellow straw color with a small white head. Corriander, yeast, barnyard, peppercorn, and apricot all present on the nose. Great melding of aromas. Fruit flavors become more pronounced as it comes to room temperature. Slightly creamy mouthfeel with a bitter finish. Crisp and refreshing. Great stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Grand Saison on 03 Feb 2016 at 14:41

Tap at Beerfes Tokyo. Nice, hazy white, foam is white too. Aroma is fresh but strong at the same time. Freshly cut grass, wet grass. Taste is slightly bitter, like eating some willow. It has also lightness and some green grass. Nice to drink this in summer. Nutty aftertaste.

One of the stand outs at the Kyoto Craft Beer Fest. On tap. It poured a nice cloudy color with a light white head. It was slightly sweet, spicy and had a hint of funk. I really enjoyed it, very drinkable. I’ll definitely drink it again.

tasted like white grape juice, on top of hay, a flowers. Light refreshing and hoppy. Nothing tradtional, but very enjoyable. Re-rate blending ratings. very light sav blanc nose. Light, almost creamy mouth, very smooth with a touch of wheat. Light med hopped. Very rounded. Lingering nel Sauvin finish. Wonderful . Never tries to go too hard with too much hops.
