Keg at the Sheffield Tap. Golden colour, white head. Aroma is German, light banana, yeasty, bit of citrus. Taste is alright, weizen with citrusy hoppiness. Alright. Creamy. Don't like the punny name, but the beer is nice enough. --- Beer merged from original tick of Miami Weisse on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. On keg at Sheffield Tap - Cloudy yellow brew, thick white head. Nose is a bit of clove, a bit of banana, bit of bubblegum. The taste has a lovely dryness about it, a spiciness too, lots of yeasty esters in too. Quick a long dry finish, just a bit too fizzy.

Keg @ Sheffield Tap. Pours hazy gold with white head. Strong banana esters. Fruity wheat taste with cloves, spice, more banana and a sharpened citrus element. Not the smoothest or well-balanced weiz blend.

Keg at Tapped Leeds. Murky yellow pour, into a Schneiderweisse vase, which I’m always gonna like. high carbonation, clove and banana nose, wheat, bread, all the good stuff. not sure why they bothered with American hops, because this is all about the wheat and yeast.

On tap at Sheffield. Usually pours thick and cloudy. This was (almost) clear. Head not as thick as usual either. Biscuity, yeasty, bit of banana in there. Not up to scratch really.

Black Country Beano. Post Beano short bash in the Euston Tap. Hazy amber beer, little white head. Light airy palate, semi dry. Dry sweetish malt, mellow bubblegum ester. Finishes crisp and dry. A little insipid.
