Old rating from 10-01-16 - Picked up on a recent road trip to Belgium. 330ml bottle. Pours a cloudy orange colour with fluffy white head. Aromas of citrus, pine & malt. Taste is quite sweet, malty, yeast, grassy, light sweet fruit. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. Overall enjoyable but slightly disappointing as I had high expectations

It is an average beer, the taste is in a way of a pils, bitter, malty, sparkling side, yellow and troubled body, refreshing, nice. 08.08.2016, buying it at the ex grain d'orges Crissier.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per l'orzo e lo speziato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di apparenza velata e anche qui bollicine medio-fini costituiscono la forma della frizzantezza. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Il tetto della bocca riconosce impressioni di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, spezie, erbaceo, limone, erbe aromatiche e ciliegia.

Aroma of spicy yeast, fruits, lemon, coriander. Flavour is light fruity sweetness with a light bitter finish. Nice and refreshing, but I prefer the ’regular’ La Chouffe.

Slightly, hazy gold in color with a two-finger head. Aroma was grains, and hay. Taste is also grains and hay with a slight sweet finish.
