(batch HOP-216), quintuple hopped. Hazy deep amber colour, one finger creamy beige to dirty white head that lasts long, good lacing. Fresh citrus aroma, pineapple, orange, lemon, barnyard, citrus hops, hop flowers, herbal tones. Bittersweet with fruity tones, full bodied, creamy to sticky texture. Dry bitter finish, fruity tones, soft herbal notes, very good.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of spicy hops, malt, caramel, and citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, over ripe fruits, caramel, and spicy hops, leading to a bitter finish. The alcohol burns in the throat.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a rich and frothy off-white head that leaves quite some lacework. Very spicy and herbal hop aroma. Rich body, quite some sweet caramel, greasy, intense, herbal hops leaving a solid bitterness. But totally lacking in hoppy complexity. 300514

Dark amber colour. Very strong, syrupy aroma with some maltiness too. Flavour is very malty with some bitter, orange syrup. Sweetness up front, bitterness in the finish.

330 ml bottle Pours brownish amber, relatively clear and with a massive, slightly beige head. Foam stays for really long, leaving some lacing on the glass. Aroma reminds me apple cider. Funny, this is supposed to be imperial IPA but the hops are quite mellow. They are there still, aroma is quite thick and high alcohol is masked with additional fruitiness from the strong malt body. Taste is also quite fruity, a bit sour - and could even be a good cider. Hops have lost their bite, maybe there’s too many of them - after all, this is quintuple hopped? Well, there are some in the bitter and lingering aftertaste. Overall quite enjoyable, different from many other IPA’s that I have had, so it’s nice to try this one. Would try again if I get a chance.

Hazy deep amber beer, massivd pale cream coloured head. Bretty nose. The massive head tastes of malt cream and brett. Palate is airy.and slightly crisp. Malt sweetness, a little caramel. Sweet brett and pine. Mild hop spice. Mildly resinous tropical fruits. Finishes light and semi dry. Herby bitter linger. Unusual dipa.
