Bottled (from Vimonopolet Kirkenes). Reddish amber colour with a mediumsized off-white creamy head. Aroma is mild alcohol, some sweet fruits, a bit sweet malts as well as some floral notes. Flavour is sweet ripe fruits, some floral and bready malty notes with some mild toasted notes to it.

Backlog April 2018. Unclear orange body under a small, lacing beige head. Aroma has malt, dry fruit and hint of alcohol. Taste is smooth, sweet malt, caramel, dry fruit, raisins, vinous and warming alcohol. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Nice, sweet and fruity barley wine.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.3%. Cloudy brown colour, small and thin beige head. Aroma of malts, molasses, syrup, brown sugar, caramel, dark dried fruits. Very moderate carbonation. Malty flavour with the same elements as the aroma, but not too sweet for a barleywine. Also fairly distinct hops in the finish.

Bottled 330ml (Vinmonopolet)
Dark ruby colour, small beige head. Aroma is malty, caramelly, bready. Medium-bodied. Caramel, solid maltyness. Raisins and sherry. Could be more robust. Flavours are ok. I agree yngwie - not for cellaring.

Bottle, at Duggfrisk. A hazy, reddish beer with a dense, finger-thick beige head leaving lacing. Dried fruits, prunes mostly, caramel and some pine cones in the aroma. Nice bitterness and a good sweetness in the mouth, with lots of dried fruits. Caramel sweetness and pine cones chiming in. It’s full-bodied, nicely carbonated and not particularly warming on the palate. Long, sweet and malt dominated finish with some piney notes. A pleasant beer, although I doubt it would be a beer to cellar for very long. 160820

330ml bottle at Cafe Sånn. Hazy dark-orange coloured body. A ring of bubbles to the rim of the surface. Fragile lacing. Jam-like aromas. Marmalade and caramel flavours. Dried fruity ending. Medium to full bodied. Does not get too sweet - actually well made (Kulturnatt, Tromsø 07.10.2016).
