Originally brewed as a collaboration with Kissmeyer Beer, this is our take on a traditional German style Gose, flavoured with fruit, sea buckthorn and sea salt. Tart, lightly sour, fruity and refreshing with a defined saltiness makes this beer an excellent accompaniment to food.

Pours very hszy orange golden, topped with very thin white head, very nonlasting. Some gentle sweet fruity nose covered by rubbery, algae presence, somewhat smelly. Gentle puckery sourness, very frush with a hint of bitterness. Gentler aftertaste that leaves very solid salty feel. Lighter and fresh body.

On tap at The Wolf, pours a cloudy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh citrus notes upfront, with light salt and plenty of lacto. Flavour is along the same lines, with bright citrus upfront, followed by a touch of salt and lots of lacto. Fresh and citrusy. Solid stuff.

Keg at Brewdog Reading. Opaque yellow with a wisp of white atop it. Lemon and sweet gooseberry pie with a light hint of salt. Not much tartness here, in fact it's got a very smooth mouthfeel. Unchallenging but easy-drinking and pleasant; a bit of an entry level gose. Which no doubt is what the brewer was going for, and why this beer had become relatively mass-market by the standards of the style.

Angenehme Mischung aus sauer und süß. Schön fruchtig. Mittig dann zunehmend Salz, trocken, herb, erfrischend lecker.
