Originally this recipe was brewed at our place in 2014 but is now brewed at Elusive Brewing. A farmhouse style ale fermented with Saison yeast and heavily hopped and dry hopped with New Zealand Nelson Sauvin. Expect gooseberry and vinous notes on the palate with a dry finish.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - cloudy orange with a nice lacy head. Nose - apricots and flowers. Some grape juice. Taste - apricots again. Marmalade. Palate - medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long tangy dry finish. Overall - a beer of simple big notes. And what good notes they are too.

Bottle shared at RBESG 2014 Grand Tasting. Murky brownish color, small off-white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, pretty hoppy, nicely fruity, fruit hops. Quite like it. Medium body and carbonation

330ml bottle from Bottledog. Pours murky amber with big white head. Fruity nelson aroma, taste is light yeasty lemon meringue before a wash of hop juiciness, mango and zest with a crisp bitter finish. Interesting, not particularly saisony but some colourful flavours shining through.

Keg at CBC Holborn... It pours cloudy orange with a thick off-white head. The nose is juicy tropical fruits...mango, peach, tangerine, orange chewits, then some, spice, wood, hay and toasted grass. The taste is crisp, bitter, orange peel, peach, lemon zest, hay, touch of alcohol, grassy notes and light spice with a dry, citric finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Crisp and rather drinkable. Very nice indeed.

Craft Holborn. Keg. Very hazy amber beer, small white head. Palate is airy and crisp. Fresh air malts - very light. A whisper on the wind of malt cream. Hops are a bittersweet orange - peach with lesser tropical fruits. Finishes crisp with a carbonated nip and some bitterness. Nice one.
