(Bottle) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with grapefruit, resin, orange peel and caramel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of grapefruit, resin, citrus peel, caramel, lychee, a touch of cellar and a generous resiny, earthy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a touch of sweetness. Some alcohol coming through in the finish, but overall quite well hidden. Tasty and well balanced DIPA. Quite nice.

Ok, it was "overage" arguably, but hard to resist. 750 c&c from Bottle N Bins in Monterey, CA. Pours hazy orange gold with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is very floral with some significant caramel backbone. Med + body, largely thanks to a foamy carbonation. Flavor is woody, caramel and floral. And citrus suddenly comes to my notice. Got to wonder what it was 3 years ago, but I’m pretty much liking it now. Woody/floral/bitter sums it up.

Trübes orangegelbes Bier mit schönem Schaum. Geruch sehr malzig fruchtig, herb. Geschmack exotisch fruchtig, trocken malzig, bitter.

Med ölföreningen julen 2013. Smak och doft av tropisk frukt, humle, malt, citrus, örter. En aning metallisk med tydlig beska.

Flöaska från SB drucken på julölsprovningen med ölföreningen 2013. Doftar som en västkust DIPA med grape, mango, persika och tall. Karamell och fruktig humle, rejäl ganska skarp grapebeska som inte riktigt är integrerad med de andra smakerna. Ganska stram. Lite spretig men helt klart en okej DIPA.

Sample from 75 cl. bottle, bottle # 1314/5000. Hazy, golden-amber with a small, white head. Sweet and fruity aroma with caramel malts, citrus, grapefruit. An earthy note. Taste is sweet. Full body, creamy texture. Finishes bitter with herbal hops, rich malts and grasses. A tad on the sweet side, otherwise pleasent.
