Bottle at picked up at Berts Bierhouse, Utrecht, consumed at Camping Het Riven, Landsmeer Nr Amsterdam, Netherlands, Monday 5th October 2015. Amber and a tad murky with an off-white head. The nose has a hint of sourness (just a little) Its fine but I am not overly impressed, middling bittersweet beer. Hops seem rather subdued and this now seems a little sweet, soft in the mouth. Itβs ok. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

330ml bottle [#407]. Cloudy amber colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, superbly lasting, moderately lacing, barely white head. Yeasty spicy, slightly phenolic, fruity aroma, hints of apricot and peach, hoppy overtones with potatoe and pineapple touch. Taste is fruity hoppy, hints of apricot and peach with slightly artificial fruit gum (Pfirsichringe) touch, some yeast spiciness, developing hop bitterness; later somehow cleaner, more explicit and less artificial peach flavours. The quality of this whole Oldskool Weizenbock series is entirely erratic so far.
