Mort Subite Witte Lambic is an unfiltered beer based on spontaneously fermented lambic. From the first sip, Mort Subite White Lambic seduces with its beautiful sunny color, its accessible fresh taste, its fruity character and its subtle aromatic nuances of coriander and curaçao (orange peel).

On tap at Radisson Red Brussels. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of curaçao, coriander seed, wheat, hint of lemony tartness, peach. Flavour is light to medium sweet, peach, wheat, orange peel and coriander seed, lemon, light tartness. Light bodied. Very refreshing actually, nothing wrong with this IMHO.

Draft - Lots of peach notes. Cloudy light gold with a decent white head. Peach and light wheat notes and a light clean finish. Not too sweet and quite refreshing.

Gezapft in einer Hotelbar in Brüssel. Helles Bernstein, trüb, fester Schaum Aroma sehr fruchtig, Maracuja. Fruchtig, aber etwas verdünnt nach Maracuja, etwas Koriander, sprudelig. Insgesamt etwas too much

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk on a train. Cloudy dirty gold colour lasting white head. Lemon peach wheaty aroma. Apricot yoghurt. Fairly easy drinking. A little sweet. More a wheat beer than a lambic. Ok. Lovely aroma though.

Bottle. Golden orange pour. Aroma has sweet wheat, mild tart, candy orange and yeast. Taste has sweet yeast, artificial orange candy, wheat and sugar. No lambic flavor in sight, we should sue mort subite for using the term lambic on the label. A disgrace.

25cl bottle (part of a four pack): BBD 21st Aug 2017. Poured into an old ’Mort Subite’ badged 20cl tall, thin, vase shaped glass twice, at home on 13th April 2017. The first beer in a ’random tasting session’ with myself. Pale golden body with a cloudy look, huge white head that hung around on both pours. Lemon and Peach aroma, taste is also Peachy and leaning towards sweetness rather than tart or sour. I actually liked it, the sweetness appealing to my sweet tooth.
