Bottle from Tommie Sjef himself, handwritten label, 2016 bottle, large sample. Hazy golden color, initially big champagne like head, quickly diminishing to some tiny lacing. Aroma is funky, slight barnyard, bit green apple, white wine, fruity, slight citrus. Bit sweetsour in taste, mostly acetic acid, slight lactic, fruity sweetness. Bit thin in the finish perhaps. Medium to high carbontion, which Tommie warned me about, but it fits the beer. Lovely again.

THANKS for sharing RB people! Sampled bottled @ In De Wildeman during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016! Golden with almost no head. Nose is mild sour urine, puckering vinegar, reasonably lactic. Taste is sour battery acid, lactic burn, dash of vinegar, oily, little carbonation. Neat but a bit too sour & basic to fully shine. Its fine that this beer was served only at this event due to high carbonation, this is closer to flat than over-carbonated. Riesling grape juice was a bit lost in the strong sourness, puckering acid.

Sampled from bottle at ’In de Wildeman’ during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016. Slightly hazy, golden yellow. Very funky, sourish-fruity aroma of lemon, barnyard, gooseberry and rhubarb. Sourish-fruity, rather funky taste of lemon, gooseberry, rhubarb, oak and barnyard, followed by a medium long, very tart finish. Thin to medium body, very astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very good!

Sampled @ In de Wildeman during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Aroma is ok, not that outspoken, a touch of rubber. Taste is incredibly sour and acidic. Way too much for me.
