Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A slightly hazy dark amber beer with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of red malt, raisins, caramel. Taste of caramelish sweet malt, red malt, toffee, raisins, not bad!

Bottle at home in London with Rick. Pours clear copper with a frothy white head. The nose has some dried fruit, sultanas. Light-medium sweet flavor with lightly grainy malts, bread, leathery dried fruits, mild earthy and leafy bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Simple finish with some toasty biscuits, dry grains, earth, light husk, more dried fruits. Not altogether bad.

Bottle from Morrisons, Manchester. Deep amber with a small head. More like a bitter than an amber ale with some grain involved in its taste and a mild sweetness in both aroma and taste and pleasant enough.

500ml bottle from Morrisons, Partick. Pours clear amber, good, long-lasting, off-white head. Aromas are slightly metallic, dried fruit, light fudge. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet finish. Not bad.

Bottle from Morrisons and drank at home. Clear paleish brown/deep amber lasting off white head. Some amber malt on the aroma. It’s a decent bitter. Some amber malts. A little bit of hop. It’s fine. Quite malty and interesting. Drinkable enough. OK. It’s fine. Not too exciting but ok.
