Bottle at THT thanks to benzai. Clear golden with nice white head. Apple juice, lots of herbs, sweet grains, light spicy yeast, fresh cut leaves and grass. Medium sweet and light herbal finish. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Thompson and Niilstrong. Clear amber color, average sized off-white to beige head that lasts for a decent while. Don’t get a lot of aroma, but that might be due to the hayfever. Taste malts, a light hint of fruit, slightly yeast and a little sweet. If it is a Tripel it sure is a weird one. Drinkable though.

Another tripel... Hazy golden blonde under an off-white head. Aroma of cedar wood, pink grapefruit but subduedly so, pear, cloves, ’jenever’, orange touch, floral hops; fruity taste, a bit estery but well in place, some yeastiness, drying more and more towards the finish, soft bready malt sweetishness, herbal hop bitterishness in the finish and - more than anything - ’jenever’-like, warming but fortunately not too astringent alcohol. This may be a well-crafted tripel, all things considered, but do we not have enough of those already in Belgium?

Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ ZBF 2015. Hazy orange, little white head. Nose is odd sweet sugar, BE-yeast, cheap white sugar,… Taste is sugar, apple, yeast, esters, pear, near boozy, cheap sugar sweet,.. Run-of-the mill. I debate the need for another beer like this. (Thx! for sharing people!)
